Always use the command 'telnet' instead of 'ssh' when doing a remote login. Always use telnet in the foreground.
Always include command name after 'slide' if you have permission problems.
Please begin all experiments by registering yourself and your experiment title in the OperatorMonitoringTool window. Start each experiment by clicking the 'Start Task' button. When you are finished with the experiment, please click the 'Done Task' button. During the experiment, please click on the 'Bash Shell' button to open command windows as you need them.
As an operator, you will have to monitor the throughput of the
system and respond to
possible problems that occur. Throughput may be affected by your own
actions or by
faults that happen independently of your actions. There is a
Performance window
that provides throughput information for you.
